(Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced levels)

Dear Woodcarving Friends, It gives RGVW great pleasure to invite you to our 10th annual Woodcarving Seminar in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of Texas. This section of Texas is noted for its enjoyable weather, sweet juicy citrus, friendly people and the natural beauty of the area.

Classes will be held on most kinds of woodcarving; All of our Instructors are well known and excel in their respective specialties. They are looking forward to imparting some of their knowledge and techniques to you. The class descriptions are in this booklet. Some of the classes can be completed in one day, others will require several days.

There will be a tool vendor on site all week for your tool and material needs.

Registration fee: (Single) $30.00 (Family) $35.00 or receive an early bird reward fee of (Single) $25.00 (Family) $30.00 if registration is post marked before Jan. 1, 2009. Make the registration check payable to the Rio Grand Valley Woodcarvers. If the Class of your choice requires a DEPOSIT you should also enclose a separate check payable to the instructor with a stamped envelop for forwarding to your instructor. Commercial vendors will be on site during the entire Rally so people who need tools, wood, books, etc., can purchase them.

We'll have a daily mini raffle. On the final day, there will be a big raffle, special entertainment, and awards.

This is a great time to view and purchase beautiful wood carved items Our club is mostly composed of Winter Texans, who aggregate from most of the Northern States and Canada there are many outstanding artists, and this is the only time some of the members display their work If you appreciate fine work this is a must to see. There will be vendors showing tools of every description for all your carving needs.
