Our "on-ground" and "at-grade" sprinkler systems evolved from our temporary rental products. They help fill the void of providing a "semi-permanent" sprinkler system without the high cost of a complete in-ground installation. All the benefits of an automatic, in-ground sprinkler system are realized by sacrificing a few conveniences. The cost savings is substantial!

These systems incorporate the use of our temporary, self-contained control unit and a variable number of remote sprinklers with connecting hoses. They go a step further, however, in that the specially designed (patent pending) sprinklers are permanently buried. The hoses are then laid "on-ground" or slightly buried "at-grade". The figures below show the hose configuration difference.

Each installation configuration has its unique benefits to fit your unique circumstance. The on-ground method allows for easy hose removal if desired. This can come in handy for turf aeration or other invasive yard work or winter storage, eliminating the need for winterization. The at-grade method leaves the pipe completely out of site and is easily accomplished with simple tools - no machinery is required. Either installation allows for typical mowing of 2-1/2" or higher and can be completely installed by the do-it-yourselfer. Water-Tech can install the system for you as well. Total cost falls roughly within 30% to 50% of an in-ground system.
